Use the download button on this website to open the route we provide. Avoid links forwarded through unrelated messages or file mirrors. If a page asks for an unexpected action before the download, review it before proceeding.
A link can open a download page before a file is offered. Read the visible page and your browser’s file prompt rather than treating every opened page as the APK itself.
Check that the download finished
Open the browser’s Downloads list and confirm there is no active progress indicator or error. A partial download may still appear in your file manager. If Android cannot read it, check completion before assuming that your phone is incompatible.
A file’s name can be changed by anyone. The APK extension identifies a file type; it does not establish who published the app or whether the file is authentic.
Review the installer’s app identity
Before installing, read the app name, permissions and warnings that Android displays. If you are updating an existing app, a signing mismatch can prevent installation. Don’t remove the old installation just to bypass a mismatch.
For an existing app, Android’s App info screen can help you find its installed version and permissions. Some devices expose different details, so follow the settings available on your phone.
Understand hashes and signatures
A SHA-256 hash can show whether two files are identical. To use it as a verification check, compare the downloaded file against a trusted, published hash for that exact release. A hash you calculate from the file alone does not establish its publisher.
An Android signing certificate helps identify the signing identity across releases. It is separate from the website’s HTTPS certificate. Neither a filename nor a padlock in the browser proves the APK’s signing identity.
Read security warnings
